More Sobriety Birthdays

Crystal
Floyd, Larry, Addie and Nick

I shared recently about how we celebrate Sobriety birthdays as well as other victories each month. This monthly we had 2 Saturdays to celebrate. One just for Crystal because it was her special  1 year  the night of our fellowship and we couldn’t go by without singing Happy Birthday.  This past Saturday at our Vista Fellowship was extra special also because my husband, Larry celebrated 6 years. He has been amazing, steadfast and committed to Jesus, me and helping others! We pray for the time he can do this even more then now.  We had the privledge of having a special mentor of my husband’s be there and introduce him with a story in the earlier days. Now how many times did I say special…I think 3 and going to say it once more! So I guess you know this was a special night!  Thank you Jesus for all the people we get to meet on our journey that bring enhancements to our lives. Thank you for the people we get to meet and share in their successes! Looking forward to more!

Praise Report and Prayer

Since May we have been on a plight to build awareness to grow our ministry and non-profit. Part of that includes raising financial support. At the end of August things were looking a little scarey as we did not have any rent money and infact we were in the red. My husband and I have been meeting with a few people and organizations and many more to go.  As we stepped out more aggressively to present the vision and mission and do our part, God blessed us. We are really thrilled.

This month we have received funds from 2 families in our life to cover our rent through November 1st. We are so grateful and it is so unexpected we are still stunned.  We have also received a gift of a chest freezer that will hold food donations we receive for our Saturday venue.  We continue on with our goals to raise needed funds of 6,100.00 by end of December. This covers rent, insurance, incidentals, our filing fees for our non-profit progression and 2,000 for a needed van for transportation of people for Saturday’s and donation pick up.

Nothing to great for our God. This is really encouraging when things get rather challenging. Please join us in prayer that God would continue to have favor on the growth of Full Circle and needed funds would come in so we may prosper.  And that everyone would be blessed through our fellowship and extended services as we grow!

Furniture Friday

We were able to hook up a single mom and her daughter with furniture who was moving into her permanent housing today through Section 8  in a beautiful gated community in North County San Diego. It was totally God the way it came together. I received a text on Tuesday from her that she was moving on Friday and had no furniture. Within the very hour a friend and contributer to Full Circle called saying she needed to get rid of her beautiful glass top dining room set and upholstered chairs. I also had been in contact with my friend and her non-profit in San Deigo who distributes some furniture when she can and we were trying to work some things out. So  later that day she texted and told me a family in Oceanside had a bunch of furniture. It all worked like clock work. I cooridinated with the donors, and the single mom moving out rented a truck and found some friends to help and we all pitched in! She now will sleep tonight in her new 1200 sq foot home with furniture. What a great way to spend the morning! Gratetful to all who donated and  participated in this families transition and  success. And the gal, kept on saying how can she return all this help? But I only said be happy and enjoy. I know she is growing with God and staying focused on getting her life back together. It’s so great to extend a hand and make her transition easier and the only reward is knowing her day, her life was made easier and she was blessed.  Thank you everyone!

Saturday night with the Youth

Last Saturday, was a busy night at our Vista Fellowship at Full Circle. We had youth from Worship Central Church stop by to perform dramas and minister to the kids in attendance. Second time they partnered with us. Always a little hectic. I asked a few youth how it went and they seemed to really enjoy it. I also heard some of our Adult helpers may have accepted Christ! Wow, that’s exciting. Next time we need to video tape it.

Sometimes we come with great burdens on our shoulders to get this night off successfully as we deal with our own personal life and challenges. But during the course of it, when the people come from different programs etc in the community and we can just talk with them, love them and share in our groups our thoughts, we are blessed tremendously. Everyone who comes makes it so worthwhile and reminds us about our passion! Thank you everyone for letting us be part of your life so intimately. We pray you are blessed in some way.

Sobriety Birthdays

Some of the folks that attend our fellowship are working through sobriety! We like to share in their victories! This past Saturday we celebrated 5 birthdays, totalling 24 years of sobriety. Way to Go. It is so wonderful to see how people transform before our eyes every week. They are an inspiration as they better their lives. It is encouraging for me and my husband Larry. It reminds us as to why we do this every Saturday and serve all week trying to impact the lives of many.

We find sometimes its the small things that people need during their transitions that make all the difference.  Perhaps a ride somewhere,  or a special treat to the beach.  Maybe just a phone call or prayer.  Or looking for some beds as they move.  We do this when we can. And it always is turned back on us as a complete blessing. It’s always better to give then receive as they say.

Speaking of giving, If anyone in the San Diego has a Queen mattress or 2 twins, please contact us at fullcirclesd@yahoo.com. There is a single mom of 2 boys looking for this as she moves.
